Inclement Weather – plans if school building is closed
SPS District Inclement Weather page.
Seattle Public Schools has the following plans for any upcoming inclement weather events. To prevent adding on school days to the end of the year, the school will be ready for remote learning.
Laptops/i-Pads will be sent home with students in advance of anticipated weather events.
The SPS Snow Alert Team will continue to monitor conditions and prepare to do a driving survey of SPS hilltop schools overnight to inform decision-making in the early morning. SPS and SEA believe that in-person instruction is the default and should always be the choice when conditions allow for safe in-person instruction. Final determinations will generally be made on the morning of instruction by 5 am. Decisions will posted on the SPS district website through the link above.
The modified day class schedule below details when Specials/PCP, recess and lunch will occur. Your student’s teacher(s) will be your point of contact for the instructional day and will provide links to join remote sessions.
A list of the classroom links will be sent through the Community Communicator email from the principal as well.
