Loyal Heights Elementary Move-A-Thon 2025

On October 9th Loyal Heights Elementary will have a day devoted to fun, fitness, and community.  The Move-A-Thon is a critical fundraising event for our school. All students, staff, families and friends are invited to participate; it happens Rain or Shine. Chippy the Beaver will be there to cheer you on!

How it works: Kids ask for pledges from friends, families, neighbors, etc. and then spend 35 minutes during the school day running, skipping, walking, or rolling*, as many laps as they can around the playground. Families can join us for the after school portion of the Move-A-Thon and move until 4:00 p.m. Money raised goes to the Loyal Heights PTA which funds our tutoring program, technology, books, additional support staff, and many other things that make our school special. *no bikes, skates or scooters will be permitted.

Fundraise: Move-A-Thon is one of the LHPTA’s biggest fundraisers of the year and celebrates healthy habits and school spirit!! Remember, all donations are 100% tax deductible! 

Volunteer: Many hands make Move-A-Thon a success! Sign up to volunteer in the Move-A-Thon. Sign up for one or more slots of 35 minutes each. You can even sign up to be Chippy the Beaver!

Move with Us: Family and friends are welcome to join after school from 2:25 – 4:00 p
