Loyal Heights Receives State Awards
Loyal Heights Elementary is the recipient of two Washington Achievement Awards, honored for Overall Excellence and for Science. The awards recognize schools that place in the top five percent statewide, based on assessment data over a two-year timeframe. Loyal Heights was one of eight Seattle elementary schools honored for Overall Excellence and one of two elementary schools honored for Science. Congratulations to the Loyal Heights faculty and staff and to LH families for supporting student achievement!
Young Authors' Day
Held Thursday, April 12, Young Authors' Day is a celebration of writing and literature. Volunteers are still needed to help teach 45-minute workshops on literary topics.
