Event follow up from Mr. Berkenwald

I want to thank the Loyal Heights PTA, the Loyal Heights Special Education PTA Representative, and our Loyal Heights Special Education Staff for sponsoring and planning the Autism and ADHD information night event that took place on the evening of Tuesday, April 4.  There were about 100 attendees at the event.  I greatly appreciated learning from the experts from the University of Washington Autism Center alongside Loyal Heights community members.

In observance of Autism Acceptance Month, LHE PTA and UW Autism Center invite ALL families to an interactive discussion about Autism and ADHD.

When: Tuesday, April 4, 2023

Time: 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm

Where: LHE Lunchroom

• Gain understanding and appreciation for neurodiversity.
• Learn and teach your children how to better communicate, play, and resolve conflict with their neuro-diverse peers.
• Help us create an inclusive environment at home and school, and let’s narrow this invisible neuro-cultural divide.

Snacks and drinks will be available. Childcare provided for ages 3+.
